Dave, sounds just great.  There is similar work being done in the Collins
world.  My guess would be that you might all ready be involved, particularly
with your experience with the Hammerlunds.  A ham down the street who buys
and sells all types of radios, recently showed me front panels he had made
for R-390 radios that were just beautiful.  He had them made from scratch.
He has over the years had small runs for various parts.  One example, is the
