Offering a redesigned 10-80m Drake L4B amplifier retrofitted with a new
Eimac 8877 and a custom built step start, solid state, fully metered,
Hipersil power supply rated at 4000VDC @ 1amp+. The amplifier develops
2200 watts OUTPUT with about 100w of drive..Outwardly, the Drake appears
stock with no suggestion of any modifications. The brand new, small
footprint, custom remote power supply, equipped with a new Peter Dahl
Hipersil, incorporates the latest in solid state rectifier and timer
circuitry. The remote power supply enclosure measures a compact 7"x10"x
18". Plate current and voltage are monitored with two discrete supply
mounted meters. A front panel power supply switch selects a 400VDC
"booster" for that extra punch. The step start interval is fully
adjustable for .1-10 seconds of delay. The RF deck has been "beefed up"
with a high volume cooling fan, air system porcelain socket, heavy wall
Teflon chimney, porcelain HV plate choke, aluminum heat dissipating
plate cap, and a solid state exciter compatible heavy duty 12VDC antenna
relay. $1750 plug and play.

Also offering a near mint Drake L4B DECK ONLY retrofitted and dedicated
for 6m DX and contesting operation. Stock 3-500's making 1200 W output
w/100 watts of drive. . Will cable up to any Drake L4 power supply.
Fully compatible with any solid state exciter. Unit appears stock Drake
and aesthetically cannot be differentiated from a HF deck. Front panel
exciter input t-match (replaces bandswitch) controls input for a
perfect 1:1 SWR. Broad banded circuitry allows for a full mHz of
excursion without retuning. Can be purchased with a brand new set of RF
Parts tubes $675; Eimac full output 3-500's $625; No tubes $550. Please
note! This is a rf deck only and offered with no supply. It's
specifically designed to be hooked directly into your PL4 Drake remote
