Short answer; NB7 is for the TR7, and the NB7A is for the R7.
Looking at the schematics for them I can only see one difference, and that
is the filter. So I do not think you will break anything by inserting the
NB7A into the TR7 (but don't take my word for it :-) but perhaps the gain
distribution will be wrong. The filter will only be used in RX mode, not
TX.
Wonder why they used two versions... Anyone who knows? Cost reasons?
