Collins came out with a service bulletin outling just
where the problems were in the 5.0 - 6.5 MHz range. 
Basically it gave the "go ahead" for use in that range
if you avoided certain frequencies.

I would have to look, but if the Drake uses a 5.0 to
5.5 MHz VFO then you probably shouldn't try to use it
on 60 meters.  The Collins does not use this frequency
range.
