Hi Tony,
    The R-4A had about 3 versions.  I have .jpg skem of a fairly late one,
s/n 5400, can send to you if you'd like.  Take a look at
http://www.zerobeat.net/drakelist/ & go to "R-4A info & survey" for some
info.  I've had a couple of them, the very late ones are very close to
R-4B's.  (I've also got copies of the other skem's, but that was the first
one I found now).
