Hi Brian,

I can't help you with the blanker, but I have had no problem finding Sylvania 
6JB6s.

NIB tubes can be found at hamfests and commerical tube dealers from anywhere 
from $18.00 to 40.00.  I have paid both ends of that scale so I am sure of the 
price.

A worthwhile investment for you would be a book by John Loughmiller entitled
"A FAMILY AFFAIR - THE R. L DRAKE STORY." In addition to interesting reading, 
there are several items about the TR-4 included.

Good luck with your rig.  It is a fine piece of gear.
