Yup, it's colder than us D.C. natives are used to. Hope you brought a furry 
hat.

The one place around here you should visit if you have wheels and some time 
Saturday or Sunday afternoon is the Radio-Television Museum in Bowie, Md., 
which is about 30 minutes with no traffic from the close-in suburbs. It's 
run by the Radio History Society, a nonprofit arm of the Mid-Atlantic 
Antique Radio Club. For details and a contact, go to www.maarc.org and 
click on the Radio History Society link on the left. The museum is a very 
cool place to lose track of time. It's crammed with stuff from the dawn of 
radio to the early days of television, and includes lots of communications 
gear.
