[Drake] Drake CW filter confusion

OK, I'll admit it. I'm really (!) confused at this point. I have been
communicating with another Drake person, VE3FN (Ray). I am looking for a CW filter to
go in my beloved TR-6. OK, I know the radio uses 9 MHz filters. I actually
was able to purchase a LSB filter for the TR-6, from R.L. Drake when they were
closing out the parts section. We initially thought that the CW filter for the
TR-6 was the same used in the TR-4Cw. No such luck....Same IF frequency,
though.

I looked in both models today.

The TR-6's installed USB filter (9.0 MHz, 2.4 KHz) is secured with 2 threaded
studs and has 2 filter pins. The positions for the LSB and CW filter simply
have 4 pin receptacles. Looks like a pair of Xtal holders. The filters would
look just like the FL-series used in the R4-C. Just 4 pins on the bottom, no
studs.

The TR-4Cw has a CW filter installed with the 2 stud / 2 pin configuration,
just like the USB filter in the TR-6.

I have searched the WWW looking for filter information and P/Ns to no avail.
I have the Drake "Ham Manuals" and they describe only the FL- series.

I have contacted Inrad to see if they can supply the filter I need. Anyone
else out there ever go through this same scenario????

I appreciate any help....

tnx
