Pau, my experience is that the L-4B is somewhat better built and I do like the cooling system better...although I replaced my porcelan sockets with Eimac Air system sockets I got cheap...also..the L-4B wont work well or at all on the WARC bands since it has a tuned input only for the older bands..I think there is an aftermarket replacement board for it, but unsure...the only big drawback is the lack of 160 meters on the amp..but...its still better than most amps and cheaper to keep than trying to replace.. 73 Tim K8WBL
