I want to thank all those on this list that sent responses to my questions
about tune-up of the TR-3.

One of the most common suggestions I received was that I should tune up into
a dummy load first.  This will allow me to verify that I can tune the
transmitter properly, while separate from the antenna system.  This makes
perfect sense, and I believe it will help me make progress.  Maybe then, I
will be able to find the dip in the plate current ;-)

I wish I could send an individual thank-you  to everyone that replied, but
the response from the list was much more than I anticipated.  Thanks again,
to all, for all the informative responses.  I hope to meet some of you on
the air, sometime in the future.
