Heil does sell a matching transformer, I think it is $15.00.  I tried the
Goldline with the transformer on my T4XC, everyone who listened to it said
the same thing - "the D104 sounds far better than the Heil."  It is worth a
try, but you may get the same results that I did.  I took out the
transformer, and use the mic with my Yaesu.  Tom W6EIJ

I have a Heil headset/mic combo with the HC-4 element that I would like to
interface to the T4XC. This is a low impedance mic and wondered if anyone
out there in Drake-Land had some ideas on how to do this without resorting
to external mic preamps, etc.
