What makes #1847 lamps worth $3 each?  If they are not rare, maybe they are
"Vintage"? ;-)

Hosfelt Electronics (http://www.hosfelt.com) sells #47 lamps for $2.39, FOR
A PACK OF TEN LAMPS!  Type 1816 (13 V bayonet base) for $3.99 for a
ten-pack.
