[Drake] KW 6 M amp ??

Actually, with cable TV being almost the "norm" these
days, a KW on 6 meters doesn't cause any more problems
than a KW on the lower bands.  The same thing for 2
meters and higher.

There is a most definite need for high power when
working EME, and for the serious DXer on the VHF and
UHF bands.  For working through your local repeater on
FM, of course you do not need high power.  But, there
are definitely applications where high power is
needed.
