I was blowing out the bottom of the chassis and noticed an
irregularity. There is a piece of coax (style 1435?) going from the
EXT RVCR ANT jack, through a 15K resistor to pin 2 of V18 (mic amp).
The RVCR/XCVR switch components are intact and nothing else has been
changed.

Just a guess but I think maybe someone was using this as a patch
input. Any ideas or suggestions as to whether it should be removed?
