[Drake] Drake 2C Request for Assistance

I am writing to request assistance with my 2C - 2CQ
receiver system.  The problem is as follows:  Dial
lights, tube filaments light up.  Audio hiss, but no
signals heard.  Does anyone know of a troubleshooting
guide for the technically challenged like me? I have
the original Drake manual and schematic.  Many thanks
