[Drake] Re: R4C Receive

I posted the following a while ago. Had a couple suggestions. One was checking CR5...it was OK. Another was align with units connected..did that. Still, low output on 
transmit if using R4C VFO, Receive signal level is also higher on T4XC VFO. Tried replacing V6 (6HS6), but no change. I don't have original cables, so am using a SHORT 
(24") RG58 cable for INJ and CAR (the two cables that are supposed to be "low-capacity'). 

 As long as it is quiet, let me throw this one out.
 
 I have a Drake R4C and T4XC. when connected in transceive mode, if I use 
 the T4XC VFO, the receiver is much "hotter" than if I use either the R4 
 VFO or split. Also, I can hardly get any output on transmit if I use the 
 R4 VFO, but fine output on either split, or the T4XC VFO.
 
 If I disconnect them, the R4C receiver sounds about the same as it does 
 hooked up, in the R4 VFO mode.
