[Drake] Drake TR-5 Project Radio FS

Hi all. Well, it's looking like I'm just not going to get to this one...
I have a cosmetically very nice TR-5 that needs rebuilding. Mainly what it
needs is a bunch of rewiring inside to make it whole again. The story is
that a prior owner decided he (she?) didn't want a transmitter, so they
removed the transmitter section, leaving the receiver whole and
operational. WHY WHY WHY?
Anyway, I bought this radio from a guy in the UK and then began to assemble
all of the necessary boards to bring it back to life. I made a
large-format copy of the schematic, bought the various
insulation-displacement connectors, I even made a tool to push the wire
into the connectors. I bought from a fellow drake-lover a complete power
amplifier brick (from a TR-7, but it should work fine). And I bought
direct from Drake all of the missing boards, and replaced any boards that
looked like they'd been monkeyed with.
And that's where it sat.
Long story short, it's time for me to move it along. I've got a bit of
money in this one, but I'd hate to see it go to waste. As far as I can
tell, there's everything there to make it a working rig.
So, call me, email me, whatever; let's discuss what it will take to move it
from my project file to yours. I'm sure with a bit of TLC the end result
will be super.
Thanks and keep on Drake-ing!
