What an incredible turnout today for the first HCI 20 meter Net of the new year.
A new check in record of fifty-three stations was set. I apologize to all of you
that did not get called because our time ran out. If you come back next Sunday,
I will call each of you in the order from today and run you first.

I would also like to thank Dave G0MJY from England who participated today via
phone patch courtesy of N8ITF Paul Fulk, Jr. He needs a knob for his FPM-300 if
any of you have an extra one. I will give you his e-mail address on request.
Dave was copying NCS in England, by the way. The Hustler 6BTV vertical was
working very well today and I used it for almost every station.

I would also like to thank K4ZDH Riley Hollingsworth for stopping by and
checking in. He frequently listens from his home, and every now and then checks
in just to let us know he really does listen in! Amazing how the dfi went away
so quickly! Riley has quite a collection of Boat Anchors, including several
prized Hallicrafters, in his basement play area. I appreciate what he has done
for the Amateur Radio hobby and applaud his efforts to clean it up and preserve
our frequencies and rights as Ham radio operators.

My THANKS! to each of yu for participating and helping to make the HCI Nets some
of the more popular and healthy ones in Amateur Radio today. If a frog can
smile, Frogzilla has a grin as big as a Whale's buttocks! A super group of
people and I am delighted to have had the pleasure of being your Hallicrafters
NCS for nearly three years. Keep them glowing!
