[Drake] tr-4 tx problem

I have a tr-4 with an astatic d-104 microphone.  I beleive I have the mic=
 wired correctly, I have the red wire going to the {quot}t{quot} the whit=
e wire which is connected to the green wire in the bottom of the mic conn=
ected to the {quot}r{quot} and the ground connected to the {quot}s{quot} =
 all of the connect to the s-230 connector, but when I key the mic up, th=
e s meter jumps all of the way up and nothing gets transmitted at all.  I=
 have got the vox and antivox turned totally counter-clockwise.  In the c=
ord of the mic though there is also a black and purple wire.  I appreciea=
te any tips that are offered.
