[Drake] 6146 mods

I know I am probably going to hear that I should not modify my T4-XC,
BUT, have any of you tried the 6146 PA mods, and how did they work ?

I managed to blow the 6JB6's last week, working 40 meter RTTY.  6JB6's
are hard to find, too much money when you do find them.
