From kenw8ek at gmail.com Sat Jun 29 16:19:37 2019 From: kenw8ek at gmail.com (Ken, W8EK) Date: Sat, 29 Jun 2019 16:19:37 -0400 Subject: [DCboatanchors] Coax FS Message-ID: <0b438854-058e-6af6-3c2d-cdcb8f254149@gmail.com> I have a lot of coax available. Literally 1000's of feet! All of this coax has been tested. Lengths over 25 feet have been tested for loss, and is within 10% of new specs, which is as close as I can measure. Lengths under 25 feet have been tested for continuity, as it is almost impossible to get accurate loss measurements. I have RG-8 size (the 0.405 inch diameter, which may be RG-8, RG-8 A, RG-213, etc.), RG-8 X (just over 1/4 inch in diameter) which is sometimes called mini RG-8, and the smaller RG-58 type. The lengths vary from 1 foot long to 100+ feet long, with many "jumpers" in the 1 foot to 10 foot category. Some have a PL-259 on both ends, some on one end, and some without any connectors. All connectors are PL-259s; none are "N". I do have some with BNC connectors on the smaller coax. Pricing is as follows: $3 for each installed connector RG-8 size - 60 cents a foot RG-8 X size - 45 cents a foot RG-58 size - 20 cents a foot Please let me know the type coax you would like, and approximately how long, and I will see how close I can come. Obviously coax, especially RG-8, is heavy, which translates to expensive to ship. That means that pick up near Ocala FL is best, but it can be shipped.
