Johnson Thunderbolt HF Amplifier For Sale:

The Thunderbolt gives continuous coverage from 2 - 30 Mhz
and can be driven to full rated output with only about 10
Watts of drive.  It uses a pair of 4-400 tubes in the final,
and is a real brute.  Of course it is a vintage amplifier,
from the 1970's.

This particular amp came from a silent key, and I am sure
that it has not been used for many years.  That means that
caution needs to be used in powering it up.  Expect that it
might need need new capacitors.  The plate current meter
has the lens missing and the meter scale missing, but the
meter needle seems to move OK.  Some of the front rotary
inductor scale is missing.  Otherwise, it seems to be
complete, as best I can tell. All of the maroon knobs are
present, and appear to be original.

This unit weighs in the 100 pound vicinity, so it is pick
up only near Ocala, FL, just off of I-75.

With paper work for $350.
