5 amp plus Variac:

This is a Powerstat brand Variable Autotransformer, Model 217BU.
The name plate says it is rated at 5 amps, but also says 240
Volts, 7 Amps Maximum.

Obviously, it would be great for slowly bringing up some of the
older equipment.

This unit includes the large knob, and scale.

With paper work for $45 plus shipping from Florida.
It should ship fine in a medium size postal service flat rate
priority box.


Microphone for Heath Twoer, Sixer, Tener "Lunchbox":

This is the Hi Z mic that Heath used with these popular rigs.
If you have a rig that is lacking the microphone (which
seems to be the case most of the time), this is your
opportunity to get one.

This one works OK, and looks OK as well.
It has the very nice cotton covered cord.
and presently has a 1/4 inch plug on it. $25


ARRL Handbooks and other Publications:

The first two of these are in the smaller 6.5 x 9.5 inch format.
All have some very nice ads in them.
All are in close to new condition, unless stated otherwise.

1948 ARRL Handbook - 25th edition - wear and slight tear at spine.
This one has 144 pages of advertisements in the back, all
of good vintage (1948) gear. It is worth having just for
the ads! $25

1956 ARRL Handbook - 33rd edition - Nice condition
It has 144 pages of ads, and full tube charts. $25

1990 ARRL Handbook - 67th edition
This one has a hard cover, is in the larger size format, and
is in very nice condition.
It is several inches thick, with more information than you
could ever learn. $20


ARRL Antenna Book - 1955 - 7th edition
The cover is worn on this one, but the inside is fine.
Only about 26 pages of ads in this one. $15
