DSP Signal Processors and Audio Filters For Sale:

Timewave DSP-599zx Deluxe DSP Processor / Audio Filter:

Calling it an audio filter does not tell the whole story.
It is really much more. It represents the latest generation
of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) audio filtering, incorporating
the newest high speed CPU. The LCD display, push buttons and
Visible Memory let you see the exact settings of the filters.
The DSP-599zx works in all modes. It is a dream for the non-voice
modes, as well as voice and CW modes. Data filters supported
in the filter are RTTY, Amtor, PACTOR, G-TOR, HF Packet, SSTV,
WeFax, SITOR and Clover. It needs 13 V DC at 1 amp.

This particular unit works fine and looks very nice. A wall
wort power supply and paper work are included for $300.

JPS NIR-10 DSP Audio Filter

The JPS NIR-10 audio filter allows reception of difficult to
read signals and reduces listener fatigue. It operates on
radio receiver audio outputs, then provides its own volume
adjustable processed audio to an external 3 to 8 ohm speaker.
The NIR-10 reduces or eliminates white/pink noise, ignition
noise, static interference, RTTY interference, and power line
noise. PEAK function reduces white noise interference. The
Notch Filter mode removes multiple heterodynes and acts in
3 milliseconds. Band Pass mode has continuously adjustable
center frequency, selectable bandwidths (0.25, 0.6 and 1 kHz),
vertical-skirted filters, and greater than 60 dB ultimate
rejection. The rear panel has RCA phono jacks for Audio Input,
Speaker Output, Remote Bypass, and Inverted Remote Bypass.
There is also a jack for 12 VDC Input (1 amp). The front
panel has a 1/4 inch headphone jack.

This unit works fine, and looks very close to new. I can not
find a scratch on it. With paper work for $75.

Grove SP-200 Speaker and Audio Filter

The Grove SP-200 speaker with filter has extensive audio
filtration capability which includes peak and notch functions,
with variable bandwidth and frequency. In this respect, it
seems to be similar to the Autek QF-1 filter, but it is built
in to the speaker enclosure. It also has a tape recorder
activation feature with a variable hold. Tape out and
activation are on the rear panel.

In addition, it has an audio amplifier in it with a volume
control and separate bass and treble controls. A noise limiter
is also included. To put it another way, it is quite
sophisticated!

It is all housed in a nice woodgrain cabinet, about 11 inches
wide by 7 high and 8 deep. $175

Prices do not include shipping from Florida.

Thanks.

Ken, W8EK
