This, in and of itself, is not Glowbug or Boatanchor, but it
certainly can be used to repair the older rigs, and do it
safer than using a VTVM (no grounded lead).
FET Analog Multimeter For Sale:
Micronta 22-220
This is an analog meter that looks very similar to a VOM
(actually close to a Simpson 260 at a quick glance), but
is really very different. It is a cross between a VOM and
a VTVM. It has an FET front end, which means that it can
be battery powered. It also means that the DC input
impedance is 10 MegOhms, so it does not load a circuit
as much as a VOM. But it is like a VOM, in that it will also
measure current.
It has
Seven DC Voltage scales from 1 to 1000 volts
Six AC voltage scales from 3 to 1000 volts
Five ohm scales to 10 Meg, plus a continuity scale
Five DC current scales from 300 microamps to 10 amps
Dbm scale
The analog movement has a mirrored scale.
This particular unit is in very nice shape, in its original box.
I can not find a scratch on it. Probes included for $35 plus
shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
