Pete - my guess is that the people running the Monkey County Fairgrounds ran 
everyone off with that absurd price increase
several years ago. I bet theyu got tire dof the place sitting emplty and not making 
them hardly ANY money, and thus broke down 
and became more "generous" of late... now that they destroyed 
one of the best hamfests in the region. Oh well, there's always Timonium if that is 
still going.
