the following are very useful.

Top quality fiberglass terminal boards measuring -
13-1/8" long by 1-1/2"  wide. 

A few other sizes available...

These have 2 rows of turrets for mounting components 
and making 
wiring connections, and four mounting holes in the corners.
They can of course be cut down into smaller sections as 
needed.
