[DCART] Pony Express Re-Ride Radio Operators

The Pony Express Re-ride is just around the corner...June 19, 20, and 21st.
There are still some openings for Ham Operators along the route.  Some
segments of the route are in the local area - Carson Valley - Dayton - Ft
Churchill to Fallon and points beyond.

If you would like to help out, please contact Bill Massie K7NHP the PEX
Program Manager at 775 246-3756.  This is a fun way to use your mobile radio
to pass information as you follow the Mail as it passes through the area.
If you would like to work HF/VHF from the eastern side of the state there
are a few positions available as well.

Some of the areas require a vehicle with good ground clearance or four wheel
drive. Other parts of the route are on pavement. Come on out and play in the
remote parts of Nevada, and use your skills to communicate.  There is a lot
to see of our beautiful state.
