[DCART] Big News on Net Tonight!

Hi.

For those who missed the net, here is the news...

Douglas county/Carson City has a new EC. It is none other than Dick 
Creely KJ7UK. Dick's main job, in addition to being EC/RO, will be to 
select and train his replacement as the next EC.

As many of you may know by now, I am stepping down as DEC for the 
Nevada ARES Northwest District, effective November 13, 2007. The 
reason is that my wife has been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs 
disease) and I expect that because more and more of my time must be 
dedicated to her, I will not have time to properly execute the 
responsibilities of DEC.

In the interim, Don Carlson KQ6FM, our SEC, will do "double duty" as 
DEC until my replacement is ready to take over the DEC job.
