[DCART] DCART meeting

This Monday, the 15th, will see DCART starting a new year at a new location, with a new EC.

These three happenings can be greatly enhanced with your participation.

Please plan to be at Douglas County Fire Station #2 at 6:30PM.

The station is located at 1225 Douglas Avenue in Gardnerville.  It's just West of 395.  The turnoff is South of Gilman Avenue, meaning it's South of Sharkey's, Historic Hotel, Overland Hotel, etc.  Douglas Avenue is just as you approach the sharp left turn after Sharkey's (assuming you're headed South).  1225 is on the South side of the street (Douglas Avenue), very close to the 395 intersection.

There's adequate parking on the East and South side of the building, as well as on the street.

Be prepared for a most comprehensive and intense presentation on ICS100.  This will enhance the input from the last several net lesson on that subject.

Otto (KV7J) knows the subject well, is a great educator with a most interesting presentation style.  He'll keep you on the edge of your seat with his commentary, well enhanced with A/V aids.

You'll like our new meeting location!  It's clean, bright and most adequate.  We have the upstairs room.  Perhaps easiest access will be by the outside stairs, located on the East side of the building.

Coffee and...will be provided.  Bring notepads if you wish to take notes.  Highly recommended.  Talk-in on 147.27.
