[DCART] SIERA General Meeting

Fellow SIERA members, interested Hams, and friends are invited to the SIERA
General meeting Thursday the 20th of April, 2006.

The guest speaker for the April SIERA general meeting is Mel Hogan WA6EYD.
Mel is presenting information on NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Systems). He
will discuss design and utilization of the NVIS antennas. HF stations for
the Pony Express would use this type of antenna for communications within
300 miles. The military has been using this technology for years.  Come and
learn about cloud burner antennas.

SIERA general meetings are held at 1900 hrs the third Thursday of each month
(except January, July, and August) at:
