The DELMARVA Hamfest and Technology Expo is April 17 at Sussex Tech High
School in Georgetown, Delaware.  

Tickets are only $5 and that includes FREE parking and a FREE lunch!
Vendors include Ham Radio Outlet (HRO), The RF Connection, 
Black & Decker, Eagle One Electronics, Radio Shack, G&G Electronics,
Delmarva Two-Way Communications, Call Stuff, Pasco Batteries, Verizon,
plus many more. 

Outside, tailgaters will have all sorts of bargains in the parking lot.
  
Activities include Card Checking, testing, and Seminars to include Steve
Ewald W1XX from ARRL Headquarters with a presentation on
Emergency Communications and the National Traffic System and An Update
from the League presented by Frank AD3M.  
Don't miss the high voltage power demonstration and seminar presented by
DELMARVA Power.  

Other attractions will be the Sussex County Mobile Command Unit along
with a State Police helicopter (weather permitting.) 
This is something the whole family can enjoy!  

Our list of public service representatives includes the U.S. Coast Guard
Auxiliary, MARS, RACES, ARES, 
and Beebe Hospital...FREE blood pressure checking.   

Several Door Prizes will be awarded to include a subscription to CQ
Magazine, ARRL gift certificates, restaurant gift cards, 100 QSL Cards,
and a gift from HRO.  

The Silent Chinese Auction features a 2M HT, equipment from LDG and MFJ,
four rounds of golf WITH A CART from The Rookery Golf Club, a weekend for
two at The Atlantic Sands Hotel on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, plus
many other ham radio equipment items.  

The raffle features three great prizes!  A 32" HDTV, a 4 KW generator,
and a laptop computer.  Raffle tickets are $4 at the door.  

The gates open at 6:00 and the doors open at 7:00.  Great food, good
friends, and plenty of activities...please come join in on the fun!
