[DARC] D.A.R.C. Semi Annual Dinner Meeting - May 26, 2004

To members and friends of the Delmarva Amateur Radio Club (D.A.R.C.);

you are cordially invited to the General Membership Dinner Meeting of the
D.A.R.C. on May 26th (last Wednesday in May) at 6:30 PM.  The meeting
will be held in the Skipjack Room of Dayton's Restaurant (909 Snow Hill
Road; Salisbury, MD) which is across Rt. 12 from the Holly Center.  We
will order from the menu.

Our present membership for 2004 numbers 58.  Those who have not renewed
their membership by July 1, 2004 will be dropped from the roster.  If you
have not renewed please do so and help keep the 146.22/82 repeater on the
air.  Check your membership card for the 2004 date and if you have any
questions please contact me.

The repeater is working well.  Auto Patch is active although telephone
line records indicate it is not being used.  This may be an item we want
to discuss at the dinner meeting.

The Delmarva amateur Radio Enhancement Net is very active on Monday
nights at 9 PM and again growing is size.  Carol (N3NKK) has maintained
net control with this weekly tradition and all check ins are welcomed. 
The 156.7 Hz PL tone is removed during the net to allow easy access for
those without PL capability.

I hope to see you at the dinner meeting if you are able to attend.  If
you have any questions regarding the dinner meeting or the repeater,
please give me a call on 410-208-1398.  Please announce yourself on the
answering machine if the call is not immediately picked up.  An e-mail
response is also acceptable.
