My wife and I recently moved back to Dayton from Robertsdale, AL, where I got my license and briefly a member of the Baldwin County Amateur Radio Club (BCARC, N4MZ).

During my limited time there I was able to begin the process of completing the entry level training requirements for ARES, except for the (optional) SKYWARN training. I just noticed that the Wilmington NWS office is offering both virtual & in-person sessions for basic SKYWARN training <https://www.weather.gov/iln/spottertrainingschedule>.

For those interested, the virtual session is this Thurs. 2/19 at 6pm. The in-person session is Sat. 3/7 in downtown Dayton.
