I am walking into this cold and ignorant.  According to the VA volunteer services the VA Ham Club members moved on after the plandemic.  I have no idea who Jim Simpson is or if he is even in this thread. 

The presentation last Thursday (DARA) by Chuck stirred the pot for more information.   If Simpson is available it would probably be better if he took the lead.  In the meantime I can look up the physician that checks in on it once a month and see what needs to be done. Maybe get some pictures next time I am out there.  Inside and out.

I just talked with the VA Emergency coordinator.  He just started the process of looking for some HAM volunteers to run the VAMC Ham Club shack thing.  Currently one of the doctors goes in the shack once a month to check the equipment.  The shack has been idle since 2019, volunteer wise.  The coordinator did say the High Frequency antenna need a mast clamp replaced.

We discussed an AREDN node for the Hospital and since he is studying for his HAM Tech it was like the blind leading the blind.

Chuck please reach out to me, we need a ELMER.
