TNG – Anarchy, Homebrew & Hamvention
This Friday’s DARA meeting will be our annual Homebrew night. so, gather up your projects and bring them Friday. Who knows you might win a prize.
The BIG show is rapidly approaching. In less than 2 weeks the world comes to the Dayton Hamvention. If you have not volunteered yet there are still openings, ask at TNG we will put you in touch with the right people. Or, visit https://hamvention.org/volunteer/
Anarchy and Hamvention cleanup will continue.
Even though masks are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.
PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID or FLU symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.
DARA Membership Meeting – May 5, 2023
Upcoming DARA Meeting May 5th 2023 at 7PM
We have a big meeting coming up in May. The meeting will be held in the OSU Extension Office at the Greene County Expo Center. This is the building that hosts forum room 4. The Expo Center will be busy this week. To get to the Extension building, you enter gate 2, which is the gate closest to the Assembly building. There will be Greene County Agricultural Society Board members at that gate. You need to let them know you are attending the DARA meeting. They will advise directions to get to the Extension Office.
The May meeting is our homebrew night. If you have a Ham Radio related project you’ve been working on and want to show it off, this is the place to do it. Mark Erbaugh, N8ME, and his team will be judging the projects. There will be prizes for the award winners.
As we continue the election process, the nomination committee will present those that have reached out and wish to run for office. We will also accept nominations from the floor. Nominations will be closed at this meeting. Next month at our June meeting, which will be held June 2nd, we will hold elections. All those running for office should submit an article to the RF Carrier for the June edition. The deadline to submit your article is May 24th. You should also prepare a short speech to present at the June meeting.

Keep working on your projects at home OR bring them with you to TNG and do them there.
The DARA Homebrew night will be held at the May 5 general meeting. Start getting your stuff ready.

As most of us are busy with the rapidly approaching Hamvention Steve, AE8AT, is also very busy with work and schooling. He plans on resuming the License Study Questions after Hamvention.
