Things this week:

TNG – Lets design a Power Supply Load

George, WD8NHI, has dug out an old chassis he got years ago that has about a dozen 10 ohm 100 watt resistors on it.  Let’s figure out how we can rewire it to make a power supply load test unit for TNG.

Even though masks are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.  There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.

PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.

DARA Holiday Party RSVP REQUIRED!!

DARA Holiday Party RSVP

Please use this link   https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040C4FA8AC2BA02-dara1  to RSVP now for the DARA Holiday Party taking place on December 2, 2022, in the Assembly Building at the Greene County Expo Center, 120 Fairgrounds Road, Xenia Ohio. Starting time is 6:00pm. Members and their families are invited. Please respond quickly so we can reserve tables and food and guarantee gifts for the kids. We will be serving the traditional Marion’s Pizza with side salad. We will supply the drinks. Please bring a desert to share. Michael Kalter will keep us entertained with music for the evening. Linda Kalter will be organizing the youth area with crafts and games. Melissa Markland will be decorating the tables. Of course, Santa will be stopping by for a visit. There will be a gift drawing for radios and gift cards.

Radio Santa will not be attending Children’s Hospital this year due to an unusually large number of patients with respiratory illnesses and most are in isolation. The hospital did say they would gladly accept gifts for the kids if we would like to donate toys. They would accept coloring books and crayons, matchbox cars, Lego sets, play dough, infant toys, card games and small teddy bears. The main stipulation is that they need to be new. We will be collecting the toys at the Holiday Party for Children’s Hospital and transporting them to the hospital. Please bring a toy to help brighten up a child’s Christmas.

Answers:

T3C07 = B.

G6B13 = C. *

E3A08 = A.

* There was not a specific meteor scatter question. The frequencies for meteor scatter run primarily between 2m and 10m where this connector is acceptable. Yeah, I was scrapping bottom looking for a meteor question in the General pool.
