And if you are willing to give that talk even better!
Let Tom or George know.
Even though mask are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.

DARA General Membership Meeting FRIDAY FEB 4th
The DARA General Membership meeting is this coming Friday March 4, 2022, at 7:00pm at the Greene County Fairgrounds in the Mercantile Building. Our scheduled speaker canceled at the last minute and Steve Keller AE8AT has graciously volunteered to fill in. He has a most interesting topic that may help us all in our search for contacts on HF. The meeting will be in-person and Zoom for those unable to attend. Zoom information is at the end of this article. Please come out and get together with all your friends once again.
“Steve Keller is a DARA member and contributes to the club by authoring the quizzes in the DARA Repeater email, supporting the Volunteer Examiner team, and serving as a Hamvention committee member. Steve holds an Extra class license and enjoys contesting and POTA. Steve has master’s degrees in business and engineering and works as a data analyst for the University of Dayton Research Institute.
HF radio propagation tools have been available to radio amateurs in the form of ARRL Antenna Handbook tables, or propagation software tools such as VOACAP. This Friday night an alternative will be presented. The CQ Worldwide DX contests (SSB in October, CW in November) have made entry logs public for each year dating back to 2005. By analyzing millions of logbook entries, it is possible to visualize the dynamics of HF operation over a 24-hour cycle and across solar minimum and maximum. The topic will be of interest to DX'ers and contesters as well casual HF operators, EMCOMM, and those new to HF.”
