------------------------------------------------------
Things this week:
TNG – P25 & Stuff
The P25 group will be tuning and working on Quantar P25 repeaters and other P25 items this week. PLEASE leave the tables near the front of the test equipment side of the room empty for them.
We might even get them to explain what they are doing and how their repeater system is progressing.
The rest of us can just swap stories and have fun.
Even though masks are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.
PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.

** License Exam Questions – 220
Many of might have hoped that quiz number 220 would focus on the 1.25 meter band. Unfortunately the band is neglected in the General and Extra question pools which have an HF focus. Instead, we will continue the theme of the past few weeks and make the topic the answer to the Technician question.
T6A01 What electrical component opposes the flow of current in a DC circuit?
A. Inductor
B. Resistor
C. Inverter
D. Transformer
G6A06 Which of the following is a reason not to use wire-wound resistors in an RF circuit?
A. The resistor’s tolerance value would not be adequate for such a circuit
B. The resistor’s inductance could make circuit performance unpredictable
C. The resistor could overheat
D. The resistor’s internal capacitance would detune the circuit
E6C07 What best describes a pull-up or pull-down resistor?
A. A resistor in a keying circuit used to reduce key clicks
B. A resistor connected to the positive or negative supply line used to establish a voltage when an input or output is an open circuit
C. A resistor that ensures that an oscillator frequency does not drift
D. A resistor connected to an op-amp output that prevents signals from exceeding the power supply voltage
