This week Tom, N8ZM, will talk about this weekend’s 2022 ARRL September VHF Contest. The DARA Planning Council need to know what dollar amount TNG is wanting the next year. So, we need to talk about what we need.

TNG-Fest – when do we want to have our next one?

As always you can work on your projects, radios or just chat with friends. There are a lot of different groups all doing their thing with different radios. Come see what’s happening. Just good talk amongst friends.

Even though mask are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.

PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.

DARA General Membership Meeting THIS FRIDAY Sept 9

DARA Membership Meeting September 9, 2022

Our first DARA Membership Meeting will takeplace Friday September 9, 2022, at the Greene County Fairgrounds in the Mercantile Building at 7:00pm. The meeting will be in-person and on Zoom for those unable to attend.

We are all interested in the weather, every day we check the weather before we plan our day. Many of our members are Storm Spotters and since we all have an interest in the weather and how it effects our lives, our speaker, this month, will be Matthew Campbell, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio. Matthew will be focusing his talk on how weather forecasts are made.
