And troubleshooting a dead TV
Steve, AE8AT, and others participants will tell us how DARA did and what problems they had.
A 55-inch TV was dropped off by an 88 yr young man as not working. Lets see what is wrong and if we can fix it.
Even though masks are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.
PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.
DARA Nov 4 General Membership Meeting
The next DARA Membership Meeting will take place Friday, November 4 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Greene County Expo Center at 120 Fairgrounds Rd in Xenia Ohio in the Mercantile Building. Zoom information is below if you cannot attend the meeting.
"This month’s program is on the Dave Kalter Memorial Youth Adventure trip of 2022. The presenters for the evening are Candace Scott - KE8MMS, Terry Scott - NV8E and Jim Storms – AB8YK. Hopefully the other two youth, Brennan Long – K6BFL and TJ Hardin – KO4FFA will join us on Zoom.
Candace was one of the youth participants and is a General Class licensee. She is a DARA member and has grown up in the club. Currently she is attending Miami University studying Mechanical Engineering and Small Business Management.
Terry is Candace’s Grandfather, is an Extra class licensee and also a DARA member. He is a retired Tool & Die Engineer and has been an Elmer to Candace.
Jim is one of the co-founders of the Dave Kalter Youth DX Adventure and is a DARA member. He also is the 2023 Hamvention General Chairman.
The program will touch on the history of the adventure and this year’s trip. Come hear how this event mentors and inspires youth to be leaders in the Amateur Community."
Come and help support this wonderful youth program.
