I’m not sure how many of you will be there this Thursday night but please be careful if you go to the clubhouse.
Even though mask are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.
The pop cooler has limited pop in it. It is mostly water.
PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.
Small Computer SIG * FEB 12
The next meeting of the Single Board Computer SIG will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the DARA Club House
Look for details of this month’s meeting in next weeks email
The Single Board Computer SIG will address equipment such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino devices (the latter can be used for single use purposes, such as TV remotes). Single board computers can also be used as a tool for assisting with Ham Radio communications.
DARA General Membership Meeting FRIDAY FEB 4th
This is your reminder for the DARA Membership meeting this coming Friday February 4, 2022, at 7:00pm, at the Greene County Expo Center in the Mercantile Building. We will have both in-person and Zoom access to the meeting. Zoom information will be at the end of this article. Please follow all current CDC guidelines and please do not attend in-person if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms.
We have an exciting speaking duo for our presentation this month. I am honored that they accepted my invitation to enlighten us with the February presentation. They have been friends of DARA and Hamvention for many years, and we are most appreciative for their sharing some of their time and information with us. Frank Bauer KA3HDO and Rosalie White K1STO will be speaking on “ARISS: Current Status and Vision for the Future”.
Hope to see everyone attend this informative meeting and learn more about ARISS and it’s future.
