TNG – IN PERSON & ZOOM MTG - APRS Details for the DARA Clubhouse
There will be a ZOOM this WEEK.
WELCOME BACK ZOOMers. We also plan on the TNG meeting next week, Oct 21, to have a ZOOM session.
We will start ZOOM meeting logins, details below, about 6:45 pm for the speaker portion of this week’s TNG.
Jim Bacher, WB8VSU, will start about 7:30 pm and fill us in on Digi / Igate confusion at W8BI clarified. Inexpensive ways to listen in to APRS traffic. How to get on APRS.
Just good talk amongst friends AND staying warm.
Even though mask are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.
The pop cooler MAY only have water in it. So if you want anything else – bring it.
PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.
TNG – ZOOM MTG – OCT 21 – 2ND phase of the CQ WW contest analysis
Steve Keller, AE8AT, will be presenting the second phase of his CQ WW contest analysis during the October 21st TNG meeting. The presentation will cover a comparison of heat maps from solar minimum and maximum, the process used to create the visualizations, and a little background on the contest for any new to radio contests. All the visualizations are available on Steve's Google Drive, https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zFuyO7UYHpfpkoVC5gn6ke2IN-JkbeVQ?usp=sharing.
