------------------------------------------------------
Things this week:
Veterans Day Nov 11
Please take the time to visit, call, text or email as many of the Veteran’s you know to THANK THEM for the freedoms we have in our lives.
TNG – Frequency Measurement Test
There will NOT be a TNG ZOOM this WEEK.
This week there will not be a ZOOM meeting. It was great having all of you with us. We hope to return soon.
The ARRL sponsored Frequency Measurement Test (FMT) is this week, on the 11th, the same night as TNG. Our own Mike Suhar, W8RKO, will be one of the two transmitting stations, and most likely John Ackermann, N8UR, will be monitoring Mike's transmissions either as a check station or as an actual competitor. Tom, N8ZM, will do a brief introduction to what the FMT is all about , and we hope to try to monitor and measure Mike's signals.
Just good talk amongst friends AND staying warm.
Even though mask are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.
The pop cooler MAY only have water in it. So if you want anything else – bring it.
PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.
TNGFEST – next week Nov 18
The fest portion of this will be from 7pm till 8:00 - 8:30 depending on the activity. After that we will begin our auction portion of the event. DISCLAIMER – none of us are auctioneers so it will be a gentleman’s event – no fighting.
If you are going to sell PLEASE email me, ewingg at gmail.com, by WEDNESDAY Nov 17. So I can plan on how much table space to devote to the fest.
TNG ask you to make a small donation of say 10% of your sales to help fund some of our activities.
We have no idea how many of you are wanting to sell stuff, nor do we know how many buyers will be there. PLEASE limit the number of items you are bringing to what would fit on ½ of one of the tables.
If you are bringing heavy stuff – bring a pad to protect the tables.
You will be responsible for damage to the tables.
Everything you bring MUST be sold, given away or trashed. There is limited trash bins space at
The clubhouse, so you may have to take it back home.
DO NOT bring anything you are not willing to leave with.
PLEASE do not arrive before 6:30 P.M. to set up. The tables have to be rearranged BEFORE the event.
If you are NOT selling PLEASE do not show up until 7pm.
