   And discussion about the QSO Today Virtual Ham Radio Expo this past

FYI: ADS-B is a signal transmitted from aircraft with their basic altitude,
heading, and airspeed information, used by apps such as FlightAware to
provide online tracking of aircraft. It's fun to watch, especially with
Dayton, WPAFB, and Wilmington runways close by.

George Ohm was born 16 March 1789, in Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany.  Ohm my
gosh, I hope there won’t be much resistance to honoring Ohm on his birthday
again.  It was 1827 when Ohm published “The Galvanic Circuit Investigated
Mathematically” (approximation in English of the German title) that
contained the equation we all know so well, I = V / R.  His work was not
respected for several years following publication and he lived in poverty
until he accepted a position at the Polytechnic School of Nüremberg in 1833.
The Technician pool is the only one to test knowledge of his equation
directly.  The other questions make use of the unit named in honor of George
Ohm.
