Last week’s gathering at the clubhouse had 30+ attendees. Everyone had a good time. immunized members.

This week we will continue catching up with old friends and making some new ones

Even though mask are not required feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There will be some wearing mask so you will not be the only one.

The pop cooler will only have water in it. So if you want anything else – bring it.

PLEASE if you are having any of the COVID symptoms DO NOT come to the clubhouse.

DARA General Membership Meeting Notice

There will be an in-person membership meeting this coming Friday, June 4, 2021.

We are unable to use Kettering-Recreation Center at least until next September and have found an alternate site. We will be meeting at the Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center in the Mercantile Building (old furniture store) at 7:30pm.

Our speakers will be Jim Simpson KF8J and Jim Shaw AL7BA and they will be talking about ‘Home-Owners Associations and Stealth Antennas’ from their personnel experiences. Looks to be an informative topic for many of us.

We will start the election process at this meeting. It will take three meetings to complete the process following the DARA By-Laws. Larry Sack, Nominating Committee Chair, will remind us of the rules for election of the DARA board of trustees at this meeting.

We welcome all members and guests to our meeting. We will be following the same rules for Covid that apply to the clubhouse. We would recommend that unvaccinated members attending any meetings to follow the State of Ohio and the CDC guidelines such as wearing a mask and practice social distancing. Anyone who is showing symptoms of illness should not be attending the meeting. There will not be a requirement to wear a mask but those who wish to wear a mask are certainly permitted to do so.

We are investigating and will try to have a Zoom session of this in-person meeting, if possible. Please watch for an update later this week with the Zoom instructions if this can be arranged. We will also try to record this meeting and post to our YouTube channel.
