DARA General Membership meeting THIS FRIDAY

Our speaker for the evening will be Angel Vazquez, WP3R and will speak about
the events at Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.

Angel was born In Arecibo and grew up in Brooklyn NY from age 2-22.

He attended CUNY Brooklyn campus. Worked as a Radio Engineer for WNYC in NY
for a year before moving to PR and taking a job at the Arecibo Observatory
in 1977 to Present.

First licensed in 1993.

Avid Contester and DXer.

Has received various Ham radio awards including Puerto Rico Ham of the year
in 2017 and Yasme Excellence award in 2019.

Currently is the Head of Telescope Operations and Puerto Rico Coordination
Zone Spectrum Manager.

This will be an informative and extremely interesting program.  Please join
us.
