Mark,

Coincidentally, about a month ago, Sainsmart contacted me (Hong's
Electronics) to review the 3018-pro.

I've been tuning it in to make some basic PCBs at the moment using the
advice/tutorial (comments are also helpful) from here:
https://hackaday.com/2018/01/04/guide-why-etch-when-you-can-mill/

Inexpensive bits that I bought for practicing and experimenting with
settings:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EQ1X1GY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Z-Axis setting probe tool:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087Q942DD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've bought some MDF boards as sacrificial material:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C4PD283/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here are links to FR-4 I bought in packs of 50, read further for a
disclaimer below...
Single sided FR-4:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0IZVD5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Double sided FR-4:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0IZVD5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I can't endorse/recommend FR-4, Do at your own risk, because it is
technically a respiratory hazard... Some folks recommend FR-1
https://support.bantamtools.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001671734-FR-1-PCB-Blanks-

single-sided FR-1:

single/double sided FR-1:

Bonus: I bought a Home Depot "Bucket Head" shop vac with their standard 5
Gal buckets to use with the milling machine
