Al has finished his mount on his mag loop, and it looks pretty impressive:

As big as it looks, it breaks down and cap be carried in a car. On 7MHz, Al measured the SWR at 1.2:1.0, but tuning is very sharp, which is why we will be building a stepper-motor controlled system for the cap. A 20M loop can be significantly smaller. The controller with handle all the HF bands.
