I got contacted by an owner of a property that has a garage with a lot of
parts and stuff we might be interested in.

 

Here is what he said:

 

I was given your email address by a fellow employee that you organization
might be interested in a donation of a substantial amount of surplus
electronics. I own a rental house, the renter died and left behind hundreds
of capacitors a substantial amount of vacuum tubes etc....and the list goes
on of other electronics. I have no use for these item. It reminds me of a
large stock room for the old Heath-Kit Company!! I will be very happy to
donate all or part of these items. If you would be interested in looking at
these items, it would be my pleasure to set up a time to meet with you. You
may email me or call me at the phone number below. The items are in Dayton. 

 

As for how much there is - he said:

 

I would say a small box truck--I'm afraid a van might not do it

Most of it is in boxes, but if you could bring extras it would be great

No stairs--In a garage

 

As you might remember Tom is out of town so it is up to me to get this
stuff.  

 

So I need several volunteers to help.  I have a van but we will need another
and a truck to make it easier.  We can meet at b-road and go get it.
